Cities Long Overdue a Gig
Re: Cities Long Overdue a Gig
Is the Bowery ballroom still putting gigs on ?
Saw 'Foreword Russia' there a few years ago and though it was a really nice place.
The bar even had good beer !
Half a dozen pints and I was traipsing through little Italy singing 'psykick dancehall' as if I owned the fucking place !

I fancy NYC.
Re: Cities Long Overdue a Gig
Sheffield hasn't had a Fall gig this decade. It's only an hour from Manchester and we used to get regular gigs with a good size crowd. Not sure what happened.

Is The Boardwalk shut now? Was a good Fall venue.
Re: Cities Long Overdue a Gig
I think you will find The fall played Sheffield a couple of times over the past 10 years, The Broadwalk with the Yanks and once with the new line up, can't remember where like but I was at both.
To the original post I vote Scunthorpe and Grimsby, proper Fall towns
