Re: Gigs at Baby's All Right, Brooklyn, NYC, September

If I had a dollar for every time The Fall did not show up .... I'd have about ten dollars.
I hope that you find a legit ticket.
The Fall live is so low key and yet so extraordinary...

Re: SHIT you're looking forward to

Stiff Little Fingers were brilliant. The (half) Stranglers played a very punk Black and White set and who can't enjoy The Ruts 3 hits? I missed The Outcasts. My friend got so drunk and stoned that I had to stay straight to look after her, she described her behaviour the next morning as "pinball...

Re: SHIT you're looking forward to

The Spurting Man turned out hilarious. An act with high pressure water squirting out of his suit. I brought me dog and she just had to leap at all the squirts. So all the dogs joined in. He was surrounded by dogs, staring expectantly for the whole show. As the dogs got wetter and wetter we just smok...

Re: Elena is no longer in the "about the group" section of this website

I saw a Canadian tourist tourist today. And he had so much touristy items hung on his belt that his trousers fell down around his ankles. I laughed and laughed and laughed. And in fairness to him and his wife - they laughed like drains too. Canadians are brilliant. I hope that the missing character ...

Re: New Facts Emerge

For some reason-I did not listen to SubLingualTablet much. It just didn't make much of an impact. But I went back to it over the last week and it is a lot better than I remember. Putting it backtoback with NewFactsEmerge- I prefer NFE probably because I can make up mine own Fallsong at the end. &quo...

Re: New Facts Emerge

I with you. After a few sober listenings- 'tis a fine piece of work. The band really dominate this album. They sound as if they are enjoying being a band (even if it is The Fall). The most since the American Black Eagles. MES is in fine form. I do miss Elena. I use the last 9 minutes as Fall karaoke...
